- Milling: The body has more aggressive milling with smooth, stacked, and scalloped cuts for a bold look.
- Foregrip: The redesigned foregrip and regulator cover provide a secure, glove-like grip in multiple hand positions. It locks in place without interfering with the barrel threads.
- Breach O-Ring Removed: The breach O-ring is no longer needed, solving the issue of it getting lost during dry firing or after core sampling. This prevents loud shots and damage to paint when the O-ring is missing.
- Top Jewel Sticker Removed: The top jewel sticker is replaced with a machined cover that locks in securely, matching the body for a refined and smooth look.
- Internal Adjustments: The body now supports .080" more bolt travel, improving functionality.
- Double Seal Air Transfer Posts: Air transfer posts now seal more reliably without needing Loctite, even if parts are slightly loose. This ensures uninterrupted play.
- Improved Magnet Design: Magnets are now held with removable clips, making replacements easier without the need to drill them out.
- Fewer Loctited Screws: Only one Loctited air-sealing screw remains, simplifying disassembly and reducing heat-related risks.
- Redesigned Trigger Frame: The frame is compact, durable, and ergonomic, providing a comfortable grip for all hand sizes. HK Army has updated the trigger guard to have an aggressive look.
- Battery Lock: The battery is secured with two locking mechanisms: a wire form and a machined aluminum backstrap. This ensures a reliable connection at all times.
- Metal Backstrap: The machined metal backstrap provides secure access to the battery, tournament lock, and USB charging port. It is water-resistant, textured for grip, and customizable.
- Internal Frame Changes: The frame accommodates new electronics, better seals, and improved lever switch durability.
- Grip: The grip features softer, stickier rubber and a new texture for better handling. A 1.5” full-color LCD screen is conveniently placed for visibility.
- Trigger: The HK Army Shredder trigger design offers the smoothest and best feel yet.
- Board: The new board includes updated voice options and a side-mounted LCD screen that works well in sunlight. Feedback is provided through customizable audio, visuals, and an LED power button.
- LCD Screen: The 1.5” LCD screen is removable and replaceable, providing a cost-effective solution for repairs. It is the most sunlight-readable screen yet.
- Vision Connectors: Upgraded spring connectors provide greater reliability and improved vision logic for optimal performance.
- Redesigned Flip Lever ASA: The shorter, fatter lever opens to nearly 180°, making it easier to de-gas and set the gun in a stand.
- Completely Redesigned Barrel: The new HK Army Shredder barrel matches the marker's aesthetics and includes two inserts (small bore and large bore). It remains Freak XL compatible with the HK Army FXL barrel tip.
- Optimized Design: The barrel features 3D machining for a unique look, improved grip, and enhanced performance with smaller paint sizes. Luxe threading ensures durability and ease of use.
- Air Skirt Bolt: The bolt is longer, with an added "air skirt" for gentler air release and better handling of fragile paint.
- Bolt Face: The bolt face maximizes contact with the ball while ensuring smooth airflow.
- Bolt Guide: The bolt guide reduces friction and improves direct feeding for better performance.
- Internal Enhancements: All components have been refined for better shot quality, sound, and paint handling.
- Improved Design: The outer case features a matte black finish, smooth zippers, and a removable, compact handle.
- Internal Organization: Two internal sleeves made from water-resistant tarpaulin store the marker and spare parts, eliminating the need for a separate barrel case.
